The Worldwide Developer Relations team is seeking a motivated Compliance Specialist who demonstrates critical thinking, has keen attention to detail, and is passionate about gaming. Your focus will be qualifying third-party applications, primarily games, to ensure safety for players and compliance with specific program guidelines.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Our diverse team is composed of experienced specialists who are passionate about gaming. We are looking for a software compliance specialist to help support new services and initiatives within the App Store specific to Games. Our team performs compliance checks across an array of devices against specific technical, content, and design criteria. We are responsible for title evaluations, bug isolation, and App Store Review Guidelines. You’ll help create and maintain test cases with thorough documentation. Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on game mechanics and user experience. Maintain test devices, equipment, and environments to specific standards. Communicate directly with cross-functional partners and third-party developers on a regular basis. We look for great teammates who are able to work well together in a highly collaborative environment.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance testing or similar environment

  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and procedures

  • Extensive gaming experience across multiple platforms and genres

  • Extensive bug reporting and regression testing skills in an Agile environment

  • Clear, accurate and succinct written and verbal communication

  • You are technically oriented and an experienced troubleshooter

  • Familiar with popular game development engines and technologies

  • You are a creative and curious individual who is not afraid to challenge assumptions.

  • Self - starter, detail-oriented, driven and maintains a strong work ethic
